I am a 39-year-old woman living with my mum in Dinas Powys. I am kind, friendly, chatty and happy. I enjoy musical and going out for food. I love films, going to the cinema or theatre, shopping and most music (although NOT Heavy Metal!). I like to go out for a glass of wine and chat. I attend a weekly dance class and go to the gym. I also play cricket for Glamorgan disability squad. Although I am a very capable person, I can’t travel on my own so would like to find a PA who can support me to access social activities and live my life in the way that any ‘typical’ 39-year-old woman does.
I am looking to employ a Personal Assistant who can support me to gain independence away from the home.
I have 8 hours per week to be used flexibly.
£15 per hour plus mileage for journeys we make together.
Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid four weekly and appropriate holiday pay given.
The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority).
The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK.
