Job summary

Sirona care & health CIC in Bristol is recruiting an entry level music therapist to join the Arts Therapies Team within the ALDHS, delivering a service to children and young people with learning disabilities across BNSSG. The post provides a supportive multidisciplinary environment and the chance to develop skills within a dedicated team.

The role requires MA in Music Therapy, HCPC registration, and additional psychologically based trainings.

Qualifications

• Qualified Music Therapist to MA or equivalent.
• HCPC registered.
• Additional psychologically based trainings attended.

Responsibilities

• Act as a specialised source of clinical expertise for adults and children with learning disabilities within families and carers.
• Deliver psychological interventions in arts therapy modalities to individuals and groups, including complex cases.
• Undertake effective referral assessment and contribute to joint discussions with colleagues, ensuring high-risk referrals are managed.
