Job summary

The Forum School and Residential Home, part of Cambian Group, seeks a part-time Music Therapist to deliver specialist music therapy in educational settings for children and young people with autism and complex needs. You will work within the MDT, conduct assessments, and provide written reports and supervision-ready records.

Applicants should hold a Postgraduate Master’s in Music Therapy and be HCPC registered, with at least 3 years of experience delivering music programmes to children with

Qualifications

• Master’s in Music Therapy or equivalent.
• HCPC registration is required.
• Experience as a music therapist with children/youth.
• Experience with learning disabilities and behavioural regulation.
• Experience designing, delivering and evaluating music programmes.

Responsibilities

• Work within the MDT at educational sites to provide music therapy sessions.
• Provide assessments and treatment for students with developmental needs.
• Plan, implement and evaluate music programmes; maintain records and reports.
• Collaborate with staff to support students and write handover notes.
• Ensure professional conduct and safeguarding in all activities.
