Sirona care & health CIC invites applications for an entry level Music Therapist to join the Arts Therapies Team. The post supports children and young people with learning disabilities across Bristol and BNSSG, delivering therapy within a multidisciplinary service and contributing to clinical care and training.

The team supports adults and children with complex psychological needs using music therapy, with emphasis on trauma-informed care and collaborative practice within the ALDHS framework.

Qualificações

• MA or equivalent in Music Therapy required.
• HCPC registration required.
• Additional psychologically based trainings desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Act as a specialised source of clinical expertise, undertaking assessment and formulation of complex psychological needs of adults and children with a learning disability.
• Directly deliver psychological interventions in arts therapy, including groups and individuals, often with trauma history and challenging behaviour.
• Undertake triage/referral assessment for psychological therapies and contribute to joint decision making with colleagues.
