Job summary

King’s School in Wimbledon requires a Music Technology Manager to provide comprehensive technical support for school music activities. The role covers concerts, rehearsals and lessons, plus other school events, with a flexible schedule including evenings and some weekends.

The ideal candidate will hold a Music/Music Technology qualification, have strong ICT skills and experience with audio devices and software. A term-time role with excellent benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Essential: Music/Music Technology or other Level 3/A Level qualification.
• Excellent ICT skills and broad knowledge of sound and recording equipment/software.
• Expert knowledge in setting up music equipment and operating it.
• Ability to work on own initiative and be self-motivated.
• Strong communication with pupils and staff in a professional capacity.
• Flexible hours including some evenings and weekends.
• Proficiency with Windows and Mac environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide full technical support for junior/senior school music concerts, rehearsals and lessons.
• Support other events around the school.
• Liaise with music staff and directors to ensure smooth events.
