Godalming College is looking to appoint a Music Technician to join our well-resourced and successful Music Department.
Part-time position, 4 days per week, 8.30am to 4.30pm, ideally Monday to Thursday (flexible at the Head of Music's discretion). The role also includes up to 7 evening concert commitments throughout the year.
The Music department offers a rich curriculum for students interested in the music industry, including two A level courses (Music and Music Technology) and a Level 3 BTEC in Digital Music Production. Technical support is vital for maintaining high standards. The department also provides enrichment activities such as concert orchestra, jazz band, two choirs, and multiple smaller ensembles, along with the RSL Music Practitioners Level 3 Qualification.
The full-time salary range for this role is £25,479 - £27,979 (including fringe allowance). The actual salary for this part-time role is £17,442 - £19,154, based on 4 days (28 hours) per week, term-time plus 1 week (total 40 weeks) to cover evening commitments.
