Job summary

Supply Desk Ltd in Harrow is seeking a Music Teacher for a full-time, temp-perm role. You will teach across KS3 to KS5, delivering GCSE and A-Level content, and help to develop a vibrant musical culture through lessons and extracurricular activities.

The successful applicant will hold QTS or equivalent, have experience in a secondary school, and be able to engage students from diverse backgrounds. DBS Update Service is preferred; strong classroom management and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (preferred)
• Experience teaching Music in a secondary school
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for music education
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

The Role

As a Music Teacher, you will inspire students across Key Stages 3 to 5, fostering a love for performance, composition, and musical appreciation. You’ll play a key role in shaping the musical culture of the school through engaging lessons and extracurricular opportunities.
