Teacher of Music (Full-time)

An inclusive and forward-thinking secondary school in Havering is seeking to appoint a creative and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join their Performing Arts department from September 2025 . This is a full-time, permanent opportunity ideal for a skilled teacher with a passion for inspiring students through music education.

Salary: Inner London MPS/UPS - A£36,745 to A£56,959 per annum (depending on experience)

About the role:

* Teaching Music across Key Stages 3 and 4 , with potential KS5 teaching for suitably experienced candidates.

* Delivering engaging practical and theoretical lessons that foster a love of music.

* Leading or supporting extracurricular activities such as ensembles, concerts and school productions.

* Contributing to the development of the music curriculum and resources.

The ideal candidate will have:

* A degree in Music or a closely related subject.

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) .

* Strong practical musicianship and the ability to engage students across a wide range of musical styles.

* A collaborative approach and a commitment to high standards in teaching and learning.
