Job summary

Remedy Education are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join a secondary SEMH school based in Leyton. You will plan and deliver engaging Music lessons and support students who may find traditional classroom learning challenging.

The role offers full-time hours, with a daily pay band of £200–£270. Start ASAP or September, and you will work closely with teaching assistants and pastoral staff to help students build confidence and self-expression through music.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Music to secondary-aged students.
• Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills.
• Creative, patient and resilient approach to teaching.
• Experience with SEMH, PRU or Alternative Provision is desirable.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a Music Teacher who can use creativity, practical lessons and strong relationships to engage students with social, emotional and mental health needs. The school are looking for someone confident delivering Music lessons and supporting students who may find traditional classroom learning challenging.

• Qualified Teacher Status or strong relevant teaching experience

• A creative, patient and resilient approach
• Confidence engaging students who may struggle with mainstream education
• A genuine passion for using music to support learning and personal development
