An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and passionate Music Teacher to make a difference in the lives of young learners, enabling them to thrive, develop, and lead fulfilling lives. You will join a vibrant and inclusive special school in Barking that caters to students aged 4-18 with complex needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, and Severe Learning Difficulties.

About the Role:
As a Music Teacher at the school, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing a music curriculum that accommodates the diverse needs and abilities of students. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including co-educators, therapists, and other professionals to deliver effective teaching and support pupils' personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with their social, emotional, and physical needs to ensure their well-being.

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
