Job summary

Livevacancies is seeking a part-time Visitor Experience Coordinator (Volunteers) at the Guards Museum, London. You will manage our volunteer team, welcome visitors, and drive ticket and merchandise sales while delivering exceptional customer service.

You’ll recruit and train volunteers, schedule shifts, and support event activity, with duties including front-of-house standards, safety, and collaborating with the Visitor Experience & Commercial Manager to meet income targets.

Qualifications

• Experience working with volunteers.
• Experience in a museum or similar visitor-facing environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work weekends and evenings as required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors and manage the volunteer team.
• Recruit and train volunteers and manage rota and expenses.
• Sell tickets and merchandise and upsell experiences.
• Lead on front-of-house standards and provide a warm welcome.
