Job summary

Bath Preservation Trust is seeking a Front of House and Commercial Manager to oversee the No1 Royal Crescent shop and wider front of house operations. You will manage bookings, staff rotas, and events, ensuring excellent visitor experience across museum sites.

The role requires weekend/bank holiday work and on-call duties, with a salary of £32,000 per annum and 34 days annual leave. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will drive visitor growth and retail performance.

Qualifications

• Degree level or equivalent experience in a customer facing management role.
• Training in Customer Service or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial shop No.1 and front of house operations including administration, bookings and team management.
• Lead recruitment and line-manage Museum Assistants and Front of House Administrator.
• Organise rotas, cover for absences, and health & safety compliance.
