Job Title: Murex Techno Functional Business Consultant

Job Description

We are looking for techno-functional Business Analysts specializing in Murex front office or back office functions to join our Capital Markets Practice. As a Murex consultant, you will lead engagement efforts from business process consulting and problem definition to solution design, development, and deployment. You will be central to problem identification and solution discovery, guiding teams on project processes and deliverables. As a domain thought leader, you will advise on architecture and design reviews, lead business pursuit initiatives, client training, and in-house capability building. This role offers the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that help our clients adapt to the evolving global landscape.

Skills/Expertise/Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in a techno-functional role
• Hands-on experience with Murex 3.1
• Strong expertise in capital markets, especially Debt, FX Asset classes
• Proficiency in troubleshooting Murex technical issues, support SLAs, etc.
• Good understanding of technology from product implementation, systems integration, and data migration perspectives
• Expertise in requirement analysis, SDLC lifecycle, change management, product management including version and configuration management
• Proficiency in SQL/PL-SQL, Unix/Shell scripting, XML technologies
• Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask in high-pressure trading environments

Back Office Experience:

• Expertise in BO functions, MXML/Post Trade workflows
• Experience in setting up accounting rules
• Experience in BO configuration, GOM setup, interface development

Or Front Office Experience:

• Expertise in FO functions
• Experience in FO configuration, GOM setup, pre-trade rules

Responsibilities:

As a Murex Consultant, you will be an integral part of the consulting team, engaging in complex Murex assignments. Your responsibilities include:
