Luxoft has been engaged in a multi-year Murex upgrade and Treasury transformation program for a reputed client in London. The project requires multi-skilled experienced developers across all modules of Murex, covering front to back and risk.

Responsibilities

• Understand the Murex system setup at the client, including end-of-day procedures and report delivery processes.
• Collect and provide detailed technical and business requirement specifications.
• Support reporting reconciliations.
• Analyze the DataMart setup and table structures to identify redundant objects, minimize batch execution time, and explore object reuse.
• Analyze reconciliation breaks in reports, understand their sources in dynamic tables or SQL, and trace back to root causes.
• Address tie breaks to underlying root causes.
• Coordinate with Murex support to resolve breaks.
• Analyze differences caused by filter conditions, dynamic table flags, or launcher flags.
• Assist with dress rehearsals.
• Drive solutions to problems and manage technical issues through to resolution.

Manage Productivity

• Create and suggest processes, templates, and tools to streamline development, testing, and implementation phases.
• Provide relevant and accurate defect information to help reproduce errors.

Skills and Experience

• 8+ years of Murex development experience.
• Experience with reconciliations and upgrades.
• Good understanding of financial markets.
• Strong understanding of dynamic tables usage.
• Ability to reconcile reports and understand underlying differences.
• Experience configuring, executing, and troubleshooting DataMart in Murex.
• Proficiency in MxML workflow and formula development.
• Ability to manage a remote team of developers.
