Luxoft has been engaged in a multi-year Murex upgrade and Treasury transformation program for a reputed client in London. The project requires multi-skilled, experienced developers across all Murex modules, covering front to back and risk.

Responsibilities

1. Understand the Murex system setup at the client, including end-of-day procedures and report delivery processes.
2. Collect and provide detailed technical and business requirement specifications.
3. Support reporting reconciliations.
4. Analyze the DataMart setup and table structures to identify redundant objects, minimize batch execution time, and explore object reuse.
5. Investigate reconciliation breaks in reports, trace the source in dynamic tables or SQL, and identify root causes.
6. Address tie breaks by identifying underlying issues.
7. Coordinate with Murex support to resolve breaks.
8. Analyze differences caused by filter conditions, dynamic table flags, or launcher flags.
9. Assist with dress rehearsals.
10. Drive solutions to technical problems.
11. Manage technical issues through to resolution.

Manage Productivity

1. Create and recommend processes, templates, and tools to streamline development, testing, and implementation.
2. Provide accurate information about defects and assist the business in reproducing errors.

Skills & Requirements

• 8+ years of Murex development experience.
• Experience with reconciliations and upgrades.
• Good understanding of financial markets.
• Strong knowledge of dynamic tables usage.
• Proficiency in reconciling reports and understanding underlying differences.
• Ability to configure, execute, and troubleshoot DataMart in Murex.
• Strong skills in MxML workflow and formula development.
• Ability to manage a team of remote developers.
