Project Description

Luxoft has been engaged on a multi-year Murex upgrade and Treasury transformation program for a reputed client in London, requiring multi-skilled experienced developers across all modules of Murex, covering front to back to risk.

Responsibilities

• Understand the Murex system setup at the client, end-of-day procedures, and report delivery processes.
• Collect and provide detailed technical and business requirement specifications.
• Support reporting reconciliations.
• Analyze DataMart setup and table structures to identify redundant objects, minimize batch execution time, and seek object reuse.
• Analyze reconciliation breaks in reports, understand their sources, and trace back root causes.
• Address and resolve report discrepancies by liaising with Murex support.
• Investigate differences caused by filter conditions, dynamic table flags, or launcher flags.
• Assist with dress rehearsals and drive solutions to problems.
• Manage technical issues through to resolution.

Manage Productivity

• Create and suggest processes, templates, and tools to streamline development, testing, and implementation.
• Provide accurate defect information and assist in reproducing errors.

Skills Description

• 8+ years of Murex development experience.
• Experience with reconciliations and upgrades.
• Good understanding of financial markets.
• Knowledge of dynamic tables in Murex.
• Ability to reconcile reports and understand underlying differences.
• Proficient in configuring, executing, and troubleshooting DataMart in Murex.
