Bath Spa University is seeking a Multiskilled Tradesperson to perform planned and reactive maintenance across its Bath campuses. The role involves a range of building fabric repairs including carpentry, decorating and minor plumbing, with responsibilities for fire door inspections and fire stopping repairs.

You will diagnose defects, collaborate with Estates colleagues and contractors, and deliver high-quality service to staff, students and users within historic and listed buildings.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification is required.
• Recent maintenance work experience is required.
• H&S systems experience (RAMS, site inductions etc.) and H&S training (IPAF, PASMA) are desirable.
• IT literate with Building management system experience is preferred.
• Safety systems testing experience is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across Bath Spa University’s residential, academic and commercial buildings.
• Perform building fabric repairs including carpentry, decorating, minor plumbing, tiling and plastering.
• Support fire safety compliance through fire door inspections and fire stopping repairs.
• Diagnose defects and work with Estates colleagues and contractors to address needs.
• Provide excellent customer service to staff, students and building users.
• Contribute to upkeep of historic and listed buildings on campus.
