Job summary

Adler and Allan is seeking a Multiskilled Technician with HGV to join our Airdrie Depot. This hands-on role blends driving with on-site work and teamwork in a busy, safety-minded environment.

You will support tanker driving, high pressure water jetting, environmental clean-ups, industrial services and groundworks. Training is provided, and there is an on-call rota with overtime; expect variety and opportunities to learn multiple operations.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (HGV) or plant experience preferred.
• Flexible attitude to working hours across shifts and potential callouts.
• Experience in a similar role or willingness to learn on the job.
• Strong team player with willingness to travel and stay away on short notice.
• Knowledge of RAMS and health & safety practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operating jetting and clean-up equipment.
• Operate Company vehicles (including HGV) or other eligible vehicles.
• Tackling spills, fly tips and environmental hazards.
• Supporting civil engineering and industrial service projects.
• Carrying out vehicle checks, maintenance and reporting.
• Liaising with customers and ensuring job documentation is completed.
• Being part of a call-out rota for emergency works (with overtime available!)

Are you looking for a hands-on HGV role with plenty of variety?

We're looking for a Multiskilled Technician with HGV to join our Airdrie Depot. This is a practical, varied role combining driving with on site work, so it's ideal for someone who enjoys getting stuck in and being part of a hardworking team.

You’ll support a variety of projects including tanker driving, high pressure water jetting, environmental clean ups, industrial services and general groundworks. With specialist equipment and training provided, no two days will be the same.

Your typical day could include:

• Operating jetting and clean-up equipment
• Operate Company vehicles, (including HGV) or any other vehicle for which the postholder is suitably qualified to operate.
• Tackling spills, fly tips and environmental hazards
• Supporting civil engineering and industrial service projects
• Carrying out vehicle checks, maintenance and reporting
• Liaising with customers and ensuring job documentation is completed
• Being part of a call-out rota for emergency works (with overtime available!)

Qualifications

What we're looking for:
