Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Multi-Skilled Technician to support the safe, efficient and compliant operation of facilities and critical infrastructure within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical, electrical and building services, diagnose faults, and maintain equipment such as HVAC, pumps and piping. The role requires a strong focus on GMP, safety and documentation in a regulated setting.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience within facilities management, manufacturing, industrial or engineering environments.
• Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding and repairs.
• Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and customer service skills.
• Competent in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems.
• Strong understanding of health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across mechanical, electrical and building services systems.
• Diagnose faults, complete repairs and escalate specialist issues where required.
• Maintain equipment including HVAC plant, pumps, motors, pipework, compressed air, water and steam systems.
• Support electrical systems, lighting, power distribution and associated plant equipment.
• Ensure all activities comply with GMP, health and safety requirements, site procedures and permit-to-work systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, update CAFM systems and support continuous improvement initiatives.
