Job summary

Marshalls plc is hiring a Shift Maintenance Engineer in Sittingbourne. The role focuses on keeping the production line running by fault finding and maintaining complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. 42 hours per week on a 4 on 4 off days and nights schedule from 6:00am to 6:00pm.

We expect apprentice-trained engineers with electrical qualifications and hands-on maintenance experience. The package includes a base salary of £55,382 per annum plus overtime and benefits, with a strong

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained or time served in a similar position.
• Electrical qualifications (C&G 2320 P1 & P2, ONC, NVQ 3, 18th Edition or equivalent).
• Good understanding of environmental and health and safety issues and regulatory requirements.
• Practical hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous running of production by eliminating downtime.
• Maintain equipment including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on site.
• Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off, 6:00am–6:00pm, 42 hours per week.
