Job summary

Masstemps Ltd in the UK is seeking an experienced Multiskilled Service Engineer to join a busy, well-established manufacturing company. You will install, service and maintain industrial washer systems on client sites and in-house; fault-find across mechanical, electrical and PLC control systems; undertake TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminium; read technical drawings; and complete service documentation.

The role requires a Full UK driving licence and site work across nationwide locations.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience in a multi-skilled mechanical role.
• Must have proven experience in TIG welding.
• Ability to fault-find across mechanical, electrical, and basic PLC/control systems.
• Comfortable reading technical drawings and service documentation.
• Full UK driving licence (site work is a requirement of this role – both internationally and nationwide).
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing, and maintaining industrial washer systems on client sites and in-house.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and control system faults.
• Undertake TIG Welding predominately on stainless steel and aluminium to repair machinery and products.
• Carrying out routine preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Mechanical installation of machinery to manufacturer specifications.
• Reading and interpreting technical diagrams, wiring schematics, and service manuals.
• Completing service documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

• Monday to Thursday 07:00am – 16:00pm
• Friday 07:00am – 13:30pm
