Tru Talent in Reading is seeking an Automotive Multiskilled Repair Technician / Multiskilled Painter to undertake a range of vehicle repairs to a high standard, ensuring work is completed safely and in line with manufacturer and industry guidelines.

The role covers body, mechanical, electrical and trim repairs, fault diagnosis, and timely completion of repairs. We offer strong earning potential, development opportunities and a clear path for progression.

Formación

• Experience as Automotive multiskilled repair technician or similar in an accident repair or bodyshop
• Strong capability across panel, mechanical, electrical and trim repairs
• ATA/IMI or equivalent qualifications and BS10125 or PAS 125 awareness

Responsabilidades

• Carry out high-quality vehicle body repairs and accident damage repairs
• Complete panel replacement, repair and alignment work
• Carry out mechanical, electrical and trim repairs where required
• Prepare vehicles for repair and ensure work is completed to a high standard
• Diagnose and resolve vehicle-related faults
• Work efficiently to meet repair times and productivity targets
• Ensure repairs comply with health and safety requirements and industry standards
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Collaborate with technicians, estimators and management to ensure correct repairs

Multiskilled Repair Technician £65K+

Location:Reading

Basic Salary: Up to £53,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week

As an Automotive Multiskilled Repair Technician /Multiskilled Painter, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of vehicle repairs to a high standard, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with manufacturer and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities ofAutomotive Multiskilled Repair Technician / Multiskilled Painter

• Carry out high-quality vehicle body repairs and accident damage repairs
• Complete panel replacement, repair and alignment work
• Carry out mechanical, electrical and trim repairs where required
• Prepare vehicles for repair and ensure all work is completed to a high standard
• Diagnose and resolve vehicle-related faults where appropriate
• Work efficiently to meet agreed repair times and productivity targets
• Ensure all repairs comply with health and safety requirements and industry standards
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Work closely with other technicians, estimators and management to ensure vehicles are repaired correctly

Skills and Qualifications forAutomotive Multiskilled Repair Technician / Multiskilled Painter

• Previous experience as an Automotive Multiskilled Repair Technician / Multiskilled Painter, Multiskilled Technician, Body Repair Technician or similar
• Strong experience within an accident repair or bodyshop environment
• Competent across panel, mechanical, electrical and trim repairs
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good understanding of health and safety within a workshop environment
• ATA or IMI qualifications
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Experience working to manufacturer repair standards
• Experience working within BS10125 or PAS 125 accredited environments
