Job summary

Auto Skills UK is recruiting a multi skilled Panel Beater / Panel Technician with MET for a Wigan-based role. You will perform panel beating and MET work in a busy bodyshop, with a flexible 6am/7am/8am start option and a Monday–Friday, 40-hour week.

The role offers a basic salary of £39,500-£43,500 with an OTE of £50,000, depending on experience. Candidates must have right to work in the UK and be able to work as part of a team.

Qualifications

Proven experience as Panel Beater/Panel Technician in an accident repair or bodyshop.
Strong panel beating skills with MET capabilities.
NVQ/IMI/SVQ/ATA Level 3 in Vehicle Body Repair preferred.
Good understanding of vehicle construction and repair methods.

Responsibilities

Carry out high-quality Panel Beating and vehicle body repairs.
Strip and fit vehicle components as required during the repair process.
Complete Mechanical, Electrical and Trim work where required.
Assess damaged vehicles and follow appropriate repair methods.
Ensure completed repairs meet quality and safety standards.
Work efficiently to agreed repair time scales without compromising workmanship.
Liaise with other Bodyshop departments to progress vehicles through repair.
