Job summary

AutoSkills in Rochester, Kent, is seeking a Multiskilled Panel Beater / Panel Technician with MET experience. The role is full-time and permanent, offering a basic salary of £35,000 - £45,000 DOE with Monday–Thursday 9:00–17:30 and Friday 9:00–16:30.

You will work on vehicle body repairs alongside mechanical, electrical and trim tasks, contributing to end-to-end accident repair processes and ensuring quality workmanship across stages.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Body Repair and MET training or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess damage and identify required repairs.
• Repair, reshape and replace damaged body panels.
• Remove and refit mechanical, electrical and trim components.
• Carry out vehicle strip-down and reassembly work.
• Ensure panel alignment and finish meet standards.
• Communicate any additional repair requirements.
