Job summary

Tempting Recruitment is helping a busy Housing Association in Manchester to hire a Multiskilled Painter & Decorator. You will support the Repairs Team to deliver high-quality repairs and maintenance across properties, focusing on right-first-time outcomes and customer service.

The role requires a recognised trade apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3, a full UK driving licence, and competence in painting and decorating, with experience in plumbing, plastering, joinery, and tiling.

Qualifications

• Recognised trade apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 qualification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Competence in painting and decorating (core trade), plus plumbing, plastering, joinery and tiling.

Responsibilities

• You’ll support the Repairs Team to deliver high-quality repairs and maintenance services across properties, focusing on excellent customer service and a "Right First Time" approach. You’ll carry out a wide range of repair, maintenance, refurbishment and renewal works to tenanted and void homes, travelling directly to jobs using a company vehicle.
