Job summary

Equans is seeking a Multiskilled Lead Technician to coordinate a team on an O&M site in Imery, Cornwall. You will perform PPM and reactive maintenance on electro‑mechanical systems, plus minor installations, ensuring safety and reliability.

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will manage daily maintenance tasks, record keeping, and on‑call duties, while supporting a strong safety culture and customer‑focused service.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering FM services and maintenance on complex facilities.
• Knowledge of safety legislation and risk controls.
• Background in mechanical/electrical work with good problem-solving.
• Relevant apprenticeship and craft qualifications.
• IOSH or similar safety qualification beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities and on-site team.
• Diagnose faults in electro-mechanical systems and carry out repairs.
• Manage PPMs, reactive faults, and statutory compliance documentation.
• Liaise with customer and provide on-call rota cover.
• Maintain records and ensure safety rules and permits to work.
• Ensure high workmanship and customer-focused service.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure safety documentation.
• Report to Regional Operations Manager.
