Job summary

Proactive Global is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a permanent full-time role at the Bugbrooke site. The candidate should have an apprenticeship or NVQ L3, or significant industry experience, and be capable of servicing a wide range of equipment.

Responsibilities include fault finding and maintenance on production machines, reading mechanical drawings, and performing preventative tasks on process and safety systems. On-call rota with weekend overtime is required.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship / BTEC / C&G / NVQ L3 qualifications, or significant industry experience.
• Strong fault analysis and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience servicing and repairing a diverse range of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding and maintenance on production machines and systems.
• Maintain machine drive mechanisms and plant services.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and symbols.
