Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe is seeking a Multiskilled Engineer to provide technical support for site start-up and ongoing maintenance in Grantham. You will work with production to resolve mechanical and electrical issues and ensure safety compliance.

The role requires hands-on engineering experience in a food manufacturing context, strong problem-solving abilities, and clear communication within the engineering team and beyond. Shift adaptability is expected to cover business needs.

Qualifications

• Qualified mechanical and electrical engineer with hands-on site experience.
• Experience with maintenance in food manufacturing or similar environments.
• Familiarity with risk assessments and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Health, Safety, Environment and Hygiene policies.
• Close out equipment failures, work orders and preventive maintenance (PPMs).
• Maintain data entry for parts used and jobs in Holistech.
• Ensure workshop housekeeping and audit readiness.
