Job summary

Concept Resources are recruiting a Multiskilled Maintenance Technician for a busy commercial/industrial site in Huddersfield, HD2 1FG. This is a full-time temporary role running from 2 November 2026 to 24 December 2026.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across building fabric, plumbing, joinery and general repairs to keep facilities safe and functional. Apply practical hands-on skills and maintain accurate site records.

Qualifications

• Experience across building fabric maintenance, plumbing, joinery, carpentry and general repairs.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant maintenance experience preferred.
• Trade qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools and maintenance equipment safely.
• Good IT skills and practical problem-solving abilities.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out routine maintenance inspections, identifying faults and completing repairs.
• Undertaking general building fabric maintenance and reactive repairs.
• Completing basic plumbing repairs, including minor leaks and sanitaryware.
• Investigating and resolving toilet and urinal faults, including blockages and flushing issues.
• Carrying out first‑line checks on hot water systems, heating controls, thermostats and radiators.
• Completing joinery repairs, including doors, frames, hinges and locks.
• Undertaking minor fire door remedial works in accordance with site compliance procedures.
• Carrying out general carpentry tasks, including partitions, skirting and architraves.
• Completing painting and decorating work, including surface preparation and finishing.
• Installing noticeboards, fixtures and fittings using appropriate hand and power tools.
• Assisting with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Supporting general site maintenance and minor improvement works.
