Job summary

Fresh Start Recruitment is seeking a multi-skilled maintenance engineer for a local manufacturing facility on a temporary-to-permanent basis. The role is a days-only position with occasional 10pm cover during holiday periods.

The engineer will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance, fault finding and troubleshooting, and general site repairs. You will work independently as part of a wider team to minimise disruption to production.

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-skilled maintenance in manufacturing.
• Ability to work independently and manage own workload.
• Experience with planned preventative maintenance.
• Good communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct planned preventative maintenance on site.
• Assist in fault finding and troubleshooting.
• Carry out repairs and general maintenance to site facilities.

We need a multi skilled maintenance engineer on a temp to perm bias to work for a local manufacturing facility, this is excellent for a candidate that can self- manage to work independently, whilst being able to communicate effectively, both internally and externally.

As the multi skilled maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance at the site and assisting in fault finding and troubleshooting issues. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, you will be expected to work as part of the wider team to ensure least disruption to the production facility. In addition, you will be expected to undertake additional duties as required such as repairs and general maintenance to the sites.
