JLR’s Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre in Wolverhampton is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support the production of battery packs and electric drive units. You’ll work in a multi-skilled team applying electrical and mechanical expertise to minimise downtime and maintain high Quality.

Relocation support is available for suitable candidates. You'll gain training across Siemens, Kuka Robotics and ABB Robotics, and join one of the area’s most advanced factories with exposure to robots,

Qualifications

• Indentered apprenticeship to BTEC Level 3 (or equivalent) in mechanical/electrical maintenance/engineering.
• Maintenance experience within a manufacturing/ automated environment.
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• First response to breakdowns and control downtime with safe working practices.
• Carrying out PM checks and routine checks to schedule.
• Implementing permanent corrective actions to recurring issues.
• Carrying out weekend/shutdown work and delivering projects as required.
• Willingness to undertake required training.
