Job summary

Recruit4staff is representing a leading manufacturing company recruiting a Maintenance Technician for their Telford facility. The role offers a permanent contract with a competitive salary up to £35,280.18, inclusive of shift allowance, and a supportive environment with progression opportunities.

You will work on maintaining production equipment, attend breakdowns, and perform preventative maintenance while collaborating with senior engineers on improvements.

Qualifications

• HNC / HND / ONC / NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (essential).
• Mechanical and Electrical multi-skills capability.
• Basic fault finding and use of hand tools.
• Willingness to develop under senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production equipment for optimum functionality.
• Attend and diagnose breakdowns quickly using appropriate tools.
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks.
• Escalate issues and collaborate with production to maintain line performance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and modify equipment as needed.
• Report to Senior Engineer and work within budget.
