Job summary

Prince Personnel Limited is recruiting a Multiskilled Maintenance Technician to support with mechanical and electrical fault-finding in a high-volume manufacturing environment. The role covers breakdown response, preventive maintenance, and installation of new equipment on site.

The ideal candidate has electrical bias, practical experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, PLCs and robots, and previous work in FMCG/Automotive settings. Permanent role, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, Telford area.

Qualifications

• Multiskilled candidate, ideally electrically biased.
• Electrical qualification would be advantageous.
• Experience fault finding and repairing pneumatics, hydraulics, PLCs and robots.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments (food/FMCG/Automotive).
• Recent roles include Multiskilled Maintenance Technician or Maintenance Engineer with Elec bias.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair plant machinery and equipment onsite, incl. facilities.
• Perform planned and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Attend to breakdowns and repair mechanical, electrical, and robotic equipment.
• Assist with installation of new machinery onsite.
• Fault find on PLCs and associated controls.
• Communicate information across shifts and departments.
