Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited invites applications for a Multiskilled Maintenance & Service Technician to join an on-site team at a student accommodation facility. The position covers planned and reactive maintenance with regular hours Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, and an on-call rota (one in four weeks).

Ideal candidates will have a mechanical or plumbing background with NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
• Good computer literacy and organisational ability.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across the student accommodation site.
• Participate in the on-call rota (one week in four).
• Carry out quarterly showerhead and hose cleaning per ACOP L8 with training provided.
• Monitor and maintain mechanical systems and plant rooms.
• Conduct regular visual inspections and minor repairs in bedrooms and common areas.
