Hunter Selection Ltd. is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer in Leighton Buzzard to join a market-leading manufacturer.

The role focuses on planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across automated production lines, with occasional reactive support, ensuring reliability and efficiency. Qualifications

Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer, Multi-Skilled Engineer, Maintenance Technician or Shift Engineer
Background within FMCG, food manufacturing, packaging, pharmaceutical, automotive or high-volume manufacturing environments
Electrically or mechanically biased with multi-skilled capability
Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills
Experience carrying out both PPM and reactive maintenance
Engineering qualification such as NVQ, City & Guilds, Apprenticeship or equivalent

Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on manufacturing and production equipment
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
Respond to breakdowns and minimise downtime where required
Maintain conveyors, packaging machinery and automated production equipment
Complete maintenance records and documentation accurately
Support continuous improvement and reliability projects
Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures
Work closely with production teams to maximise operational efficiency
