Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their expanding team in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on identifying failure modes, diagnosing and repairing equipment, and coordinating with day teams to resolve long-term issues.

You will manage spare parts using the maintenance system and perform preventative maintenance. The ideal candidate has significant manufacturing experience, an apprenticeship in maintenance engineering, and PLC systems experience.

Qualifications

• Significant experience within a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role within manufacturing.
• Completed an apprenticeship as a Maintenance Engineer.
• Working knowledge of good engineering practices.
• NVQ level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent City & Guilds or HNC).
• Experience with PLC Systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify failure modes of plant equipment and return equipment to operation safely and in a reasonable timescale.
• Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns.
• Liaise with engineering day teams to identify and resolve long-term issues.
• Locate spare parts using the maintenance management system and manage stores.
