Job summary

Williams Manufacturing in Hyde, Greater Manchester, is seeking a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical and mechanical skills. The role targets engineers from manufacturing, preferably with plastics experience, and apprenticeship training or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Apprentice trained or equivalent is preferred.
• Multi-skilled with both mechanical and electrical skills.
• 17th Edition as a minimum.
• Experience in plastics manufacturing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Reactive maintenance on a wide range of production, process and packaging machines.
• Pre-planned maintenance tasks.
• Involvement in continuous improvement projects including machinery installation and refurbishments.
• Mentoring and developing engineering apprentices on site.
• Adhere to strict health & safety guidelines.
