Job summary

Global Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Service Technician/Site Services Engineer for a permanent role based in Port Talbot, with occasional travel to other sites. Training on a unique product range is provided and overtime is paid at premium rates.

You will fault-find, repair electrical and electro/mechanical equipment, and perform preventative and planned maintenance. The role blends workshop and site work within a skilled team.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 electrical or electro/mechanical qualification.
• Experience in a maintenance/service role is preferred.
• Heavy engineering site experience is useful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Planned preventive maintenance of automated processing plant and refurbishment/upgrade of machinery.
• Fault finding and fault rectification, electrical and mechanical repairs.
• Carry out routine and breakdown maintenance on-site or in the workshop.
• Work as part of an experienced team at customer sites or in workshops.
