Job summary

Global Recruitment Services Ltd is recruiting experienced Service Technician/Site Services Engineers to join our client at British Steel in Teesside, with occasional site visits. The role is permanent and involves fault finding, electrical and mechanical repairs, and planned maintenance of automated processing plant.

Candidates will work both in the workshop and on site, using electrical or electro/mechanical disciplines to Level 3 or equivalent, with training on the company range and

Qualifications

• Experience in fault finding and rectification on electrical and electro/mechanical systems.
• Maintenance and repair of heavy engineering equipment.
• Experience with planned maintenance and breakdowns in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Planned preventive maintenance of automated processing plant.
• Refurbishment and upgrade of machinery in a workshop environment.
• Work at customer sites or in workshops as part of a team.
• Fault finding and rectification of electrical/mechanical faults.
