Job summary

Genuit Group is seeking an Engineering Specialist to sustain and improve mechanical, electrical, electronic equipment and services across the business.

You will work with the Engineering Manager and Engineering Team Leader to prioritise workloads, coordinate repairs and drive cost-effective technical solutions while maintaining safety standards. The role also involves coaching apprentices, supporting planning, and contributing to KPI data gathering.

Qualifications

• Problem solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to coach and develop apprentices.
• Experience with planning and prioritising workload in a production environment.
• Project management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Familiarity with engineering systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to maintain and improve mechanical, electrical and equipment across the business.
• Collaborate with Engineering Manager and Team Leader to prioritise workload to meet production needs.
• Coordinate repairs to maximise machine availability and uptime.
• Advise on technical solutions to reduce onsite costs.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., 6S) in all areas.
• Coach and develop apprentices and new engineers.
• Log data and KPI information using company systems (IFS).
• Support drawings, parts ordering and cross-functional planning.
