Job summary

Hunter Selection | B Corp™ is seeking a Maintenance Engineer in Gloucester (GL4). The role focuses on maintaining food production equipment, performing root cause analysis, and implementing preventative maintenance to minimize downtime. It requires apprentice training and NVQ/ONC/HNC in engineering (Electrical or Mechanical).

You will work a 2 days / 2 nights 12-hour shift pattern, with benefits including pension, bonus scheme, and private health insurance, among others.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained and engineering exposure.
• NVQ3/ONC/HNC in engineering (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Experience with root cause analysis and fault-finding on food production equipment.
• Knowledge of food manufacturing machinery and equipment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical principles.
• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
• Commitment to safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain food production equipment to industry standards.
• Carry out root cause analysis to resolve production issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Install and commission new equipment.
• Adhere to safety measures in all tasks.
• Support production and maintenance teams for efficient operations.
