Job summary

Escape is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join its Renfrewshire-based engineering team. You will perform reactive breakdown maintenance, PPM and fault finding across production machinery to improve reliability.

The role operates on a 3-shift continuous rotation with regular overtime opportunities, offering a hands-on environment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

An established manufacturing business is looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join its Engineering team.

You will be responsible for reactive breakdown maintenance, PPM, fault finding and equipment reliability across a range of production machinery.

Key responsibilities:

• Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repair
• Planned preventative maintenance
• Hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance
• Responding to machinery breakdowns
• Supporting continuous improvement
• Working closely with Production and Engineering teams

About you:

• Time-served Engineering background
• Strong electrical bias
• Multi-skilled maintenance experience
• Manufacturing, production or industrial experience
• Good electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
• Hydraulic and pneumatic experience

Shift Pattern:

• 3-shift continuous rotation:
• 10pm-6am
• 6am-2pm
• 2pm-10pm Mon-Thu / 2pm-7pm Fri

Regular overtime opportunities are also available, including weekend PPM and holiday/absence cover.
