Job summary

NT Engineering & Manufacturing, Renfrewshire, is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to maintain plant and equipment across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. The role reports to the Chief Engineer and involves delivering against a structured Planned Preventative Maintenance schedule.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance to keep plant, machinery and equipment running reliably.
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic breakdowns.
• Working as part of a wider engineering team, as well as independently when required.
• Supporting weekend preventative maintenance tasks and covering holiday/absence within the department as needed

NT Engineering & Manufacturing are proud to be supporting a well-established manufacturing business in Renfrewshire in their search for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering department.

This is a genuine opportunity to join a stable, long-standing business with a strong reputation in its sector. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the ongoing availability of plant, machinery and equipment, working across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic breakdowns and repairs, and delivering against a structured Planned Preventative Maintenance schedule.

What you'll be doing:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance to keep plant, machinery and equipment running reliably

• Night Shift: 10pm–6am, Sunday night to Thursday night
• Early Shift: 6am–2pm, Monday to Friday
• Back Shift: 2pm–10pm Monday to Thursday, 2pm–7pm on Friday
• Average 39 hours 40 minutes per week
