Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing client in the Pontefract area. This role is key to our clients expansion plans and the engineer plays a critical role in supporting the manufacturing function of our clients factory.

The Person:

• NVQ Level 3 Trained (Apprenticeship).
• Experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Have worked as a: Maintenance Engineer, Multiskilled Engineer, Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Technician.
• Trustworthy, Ambitious and have a keen eye for detail.

The Role:

• Provide maintenance cover to the production facility.
• Adhere to site H&S.
• Maintain machinery such as: Coolers, Conveyors, Baggers, Pumps and Metal Detectors.
• Planned Maintenance.
• Hydraulics / Pneumatics.
• PLC fault finding.
• Project Work / Installation.

This role offers a season shift pattern, half of the year is working 6-2 / 2-10 / 10-6 and the other half is working 4 on 4 off days and nights. Salary does fluctuate seasonally.
