About the Role: Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (Day & Night Shifts)
Joining their UK team based in the South Midlands, you'll take on the role of a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll be responsible for providing both electrical & mechanical, planned and reactive maintenance on polymer recycling machines (on-site). This role consists of a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern. 2 day shifts, 2 night shifts and 4 days off, repeated.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for electrical & mechanical maintenance of polymer recycling machines on-site.
· This role includes planned preventative & reactive maintenance. Also fault finding.
· Monitor, modify and troubleshoot PLCs on automated conveyors & machinery on-site.
· Assist with installations on-site, on an infrequent basis.
· This role is 60% electrical, 40% mechanical.
Requirements:
· 3 years' experience in a similar multiskilled maintenance engineering position.
· Electrically biassed engineering experience, with strong mechanical aptitude (ideally a 60/40 split).
· NVQL3 minimum qualification in electrical engineering. Our client will also consider mechanical engineering.
· Happy to work day & night shifts.
