Job summary

Shillito Group is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. The role covers electrical fault finding on production lines, mechanical maintenance of machinery, and attending emergency breakdowns.

You will work on PLC-controlled systems, support electrical upgrades, and maintain hydraulics, conveyors, and pneumatics. A full driving license is required, with a 4 on/4 off shift pattern including days and nights.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and Electrical installation and maintenance experience.
• Recognised Electrical / Mechanical maintenance apprenticeship / training scheme Level 3
• Understand and be able to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
• Previous experience of maintenance and repair of PLC systems
• Full Driving license required
• Experience with motors, drives, sensors and control systems- could be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Electrical fault finding on production machinery and control systems.
• Maintenance of electrical equipment including motors, drives, sensors and control panels.
• Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance systems (mechanical and electrical).
• Diagnosing breakdowns and restoring equipment safely and efficiently.
• Working with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation systems.
• Supporting electrical upgrades and improvement projects.
• Maintenance of hydraulics, conveyors and pneumatics.
• Mechanical breakdowns.

An excellent opportunity for a motivated Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer. You will be responsible for electrical fault finding, mechanical maintenance and attending emergency breakdowns.

Hours: 4 on 4 off. Rotational days and nights, 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am
