The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 engineering qualification (Mechanical or Electrical), strong fault-finding skills, and experience with automated conveyors/robotics. The role offers a permanent, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
• Experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding abilities.
• Automation experience would be advantageous.
• Experience with automated conveyors, sortation, robotics or warehouse automation is beneficial.
• Good understanding of preventative and reactive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across site equipment.
• Respond to machinery breakdowns, diagnosing and resolving faults efficiently.
• Fault-find across electrical and mechanical systems.
• Maintain and repair automated machinery and equipment.
• Identify opportunities to improve machinery reliability and performance.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

This is a great opportunity for an electrically or mechanically biased engineer to join a busy, fast-paced environment, maintaining and improving a range of automated equipment and machinery across the site.

The successful candidate will play an important role in keeping operations running efficiently, carrying out planned preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns to minimise downtime.

The Role:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across site equipment.

• Good understanding of preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Able to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team.
