Broadacres is seeking a Multiskilled Joiner to join our Empty Homes team in North Yorkshire. You will perform joinery and multi-trade tasks to prepare empty homes for new customers, focusing on quality and safety. The role emphasizes problem solving, teamwork, and delivering high-quality workmanship.

This permanent, full-time position (37 hours) includes a company vehicle for business use and commuting. Salary is £35,941.30 per year, with a closing date of 16 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in housing repair/maintenance in a joinery biased role.
• Able to analyse problems, assess solutions and reach sound decisions.
• Experience across trades in repairs or maintenance.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and tool use in joinery and multi-trade work.
• Completed apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Carry out joinery-based works and multi-trade tasks to prepare empty homes to a high standard.
• Install kitchens and undertake first/second fix joinery, plumbing, tiling, plastering, flooring and decorating.
• Diagnose problems, propose practical solutions and deliver results on time.
• Ensure all works comply with health and safety legislation and internal policies.
• Support the team and other departments to achieve targets and standards.
