Job summary

Acis Group Limited in Sheffield is seeking a skilled Multi Skilled Joiner to join our delivery team covering the local area. You’ll undertake joinery, wet trades, grounds maintenance and basic plumbing across housing stock and other properties, with the support of a team that trusts you to get the job done.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry/Joinery or equivalent.
Full Driving Licence.
Experience of repairs and maintenance work within both void and tenanted properties.
Sound understanding of construction industry incl. Health & Safety, manual handling, working at heights.
Good knowledge of working within social housing.

Responsibilities

Undertaking all types of joinery, wet trade, ground works, roofing, basic plumbing and grounds maintenance duties identified within Acis housing stock and other properties.
Arrange materials and plant to ensure efficient delivery of works.
Ensure safe handling and storage of all plant and equipment.
Carry out work in line with current regulations and risk assessments.
Be customer focused and flexible with working hours.
Complete training and qualifications as required.
Work from scaffold or platforms as tasks dictate.
Lone working in tenants’ homes including working at height.
Join an on-call rota with standby allowance and hourly rate.
