Qualifications

• Completed recognised and relevant engineering apprenticeship, preferably multi-skilled.
• Experience in FMCG manufacturing environment.
• PC literate.
• Experience using CMMS, preferably SAP.
• Experience within a regulated environment using Permit to Work systems.
• Good working knowledge of problem-solving techniques.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and engineering drawings.
• Advanced diagnostic skills in mechanical, electrical, PLC, and process.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to safety and H&S policies.
• Maintain GMP standards and carry out risk assessments.
• Work with the Area Coordinator to establish objectives and priorities.
• Record work carried out regarding PPMs and repairs.
• Promote and comply with 5S and other continuous improvement tools.
• Ensure accurate communication with engineering and manufacturing teams.
